Peter has spent most of his life in education, studying at the universities of Cambridge, Bradford and Nottingham, and teaching Mathematics in Sixth Form Colleges for 40 years whilst holding a variety of management roles.
He developed many personal and professional links with Bluecoat School over the years and was pleased to become actively involved within the Archway Learning Trust. He helps out at various Nottingham churches as an Anglican minister and continues to support groups of Ugandan orphans, predominantly girls, through their education.
He is devoted to his large extended family and plays golf with unfounded optimism.
