Safeguarding Statement
Safeguarding arrangements across our trust are underpinned by two key principles:
- Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility: all staff, trustees, AABs and volunteers must fulfil their full role in keeping children safe. We have a whole-trust approach to safeguarding. This means ensuring safeguarding and child protection are at the forefront and underpin all relevant aspects of process and policy development and operate in the best interests of the child.
- A child-centred approach: a clear understanding of the needs and views of children. We recognise the importance of enabling children to talk openly about anything that worries them and to feel confident that they will be listened to or access well publicised systems for reporting or disclosing abuse or harm.
At Archway we are committed to safeguarding children and young people and we expect everyone who works within our trust to share this commitment.
As part of our Safeguarding offer, Archway Learning Trust have a team of people who lead on safeguarding our pupils, they are our Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs). DSLs are also the people who will support with any concerns raised around children’s health, wellbeing and safety, as described above. If you have a concern regarding the wellbeing, health, development, relationships or safety of a child, please use the contact details below:

The school holidays should be a time for students to have fun, relax and take a break from studying. However, for some children and young people, school holidays can be difficult for a variety of reasons. We've gathered some useful information about the services available which may be helpful if you or someone you know needs some support.
