Raj is an experienced commercial and finance leader with over 23 years’ experience as a CFO and Group Finance Director in multinational and private‑equity backed organisations. He has led large finance teams, managed P&Ls of around £300m and delivered major growth, transformation and efficiency programmes across a range of regulated sectors.
He brings strong expertise in financial strategy, risk and control, operational performance and stakeholder engagement, with a proven record of strengthening governance and driving sustainable improvement. Raj has also held SM2 and SMF3 responsibilities, reinforcing his depth of experience in regulatory compliance and ethical leadership. Known for his integrity and people‑focused approach, he is passionate about building positive organisational culture.
As a member of the Trust Board and Chair of the Finance & General Purposes Committee, Raj provides strategic financial leadership, robust oversight and a clear focus on long‑term sustainability whilst ensuring resources are used effectively to support the Trust’s pupils, staff and communities.
