Mark is the Vicar of Radcliffe‑on‑Trent with Shelford and currently serves as Interim Chair of the Diocesan Board of Education, appointed by the Bishop of Southwell and Nottingham. He has been a school governor for over 20 years across the Dioceses of Southwell & Nottingham and Winchester, bringing long‑standing experience in governance within Church of England schools.
Before moving to Winchester Diocese, Mark served as a governor at the Minster School and in 2008 chaired the Interim Executive Board at the Magnus School in Newark. He retains a strong interest in school improvement and a deep commitment to ensuring church schools are centres of excellence.
As a Member of Archway Learning Trust, Mark brings extensive governance experience, a clear understanding of church school distinctiveness and a commitment to supporting high‑quality education grounded in Christian values.
