We’re delighted that our Chief Corporate Services Officer Michelle Walshe has been shortlisted in the MAT Excellence Awards in the Governance Professional of the Year Category.
The MAT Excellence Awards, run by Optimus Education, gives trusts the opportunity to celebrate their achievements and recognise their impact on students, staff and the community.
Michelle has been recognised for exemplary leadership in governance, creating and implementing strategies that drive recruitment, diversity and board development. Her work has strengthened the governance capacity in Archway and spearheaded an innovative partnership to support East Midlands MATs with the recruitment of governance volunteers, making a significant impact on the sustainability and inclusivity of governance.
Her work really demonstrates our values of excellence, collaboration and inclusion. We’re very proud of Michelle, and look forward to the awards event in June.
