Danielle is a highly experienced criminal law practitioner specialising in serious crime, protest law, and inquests and inquiries. She has a strong commitment to providing high‑quality, accessible representation for young people and vulnerable individuals within the criminal justice system.
She has also worked extensively on protest‑related cases, promoting accountability and the protection of convention rights. As a founding committee member of Black Protest Legal Support, Danielle helped train more than 100 legal professionals as Legal Observers following the death of George Floyd. Her advocacy is shaped by personal family experience of the justice system and a deep connection to her home city of Nottingham.
As a member of the Trust Board, Danielle brings expertise in safeguarding, public accountability, equality, and community advocacy. Her background strengthens the Trust’s ability to champion fairness, inclusion, and the wellbeing of the children and families it serves.
