Bluecoat Wollaton Academy’s Mrs Roper raises awareness about the benefits and challenges of ADHD

Mrs Roper, Teacher of Mathematics at our Bluecoat Wollaton Academy, was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) at the age of 36.

She has been working with BBC reporter, Rebecca Brice, to raise awareness about the benefits and challenges of ADHD.

Commenting on the video, Mrs Roper said: “I hope it will go some way towards helping people to understand that it’s not a bad thing to have ADHD, you just have to learn how to work with it.”
