Archway’s annual Staff Awards event took place recently to celebrate the incredible dedication and achievements of staff across our Trust.
Over 400 people attended including staff from across our trust, governors, trustees, and our sponsors.
The event was superbly hosted by our very own Josh Mather (Senior Academy Manager, Bluecoat Beechdale).
Becky Downie joined us as a guest speaker. Becky is a British artistic gymnast who grew up in Nottingham and has competed nationally and internationally. Becky spoke about her resilience in her school days, life during her many achievements and opened the room to a Q&A session.
Earlier in the year, staff were given the opportunity to nominate their colleagues for an award. Students were also involved by putting forward nominations for the ‘Inspirational Staff Award’. In total we received almost 3,000 votes.
For each award, a short video clip was shown which summarised why each person had been shortlisted. We watched the video clips in awe and anticipation before each winner was announced followed by many cheers and appreciation to those winners themselves!
