Peter has spent his entire career in education, studying at the universities of Cambridge, Bradford and Nottingham before teaching Mathematics in Sixth Form Colleges for 40 years. During this time, he held a range of management roles and developed strong professional links with Bluecoat School, leading to his ongoing involvement with Archway Learning Trust.
Alongside his educational work, Peter serves as an Anglican minister supporting churches across Nottingham, and he continues to champion access to education internationally by supporting groups of Ugandan orphans through their schooling.
As a member of the Trust Board, the People Committee and Trustee Link for SEND, Peter brings extensive classroom and leadership experience, a deep understanding of learners’ needs and a long‑standing commitment to inclusive education. His background strengthens the Trust’s focus on pupil wellbeing, staff development and ensuring high‑quality provision for children with special educational needs.
